Trimlux Reg- Fitted Behind Wall Tiles

We are often asked if Trimlux Reg can be used for behind tile installations?
Our answer is simple, Absolutely!!.
Whilst Trimlux ‘Pro’ is often choice trim for the professional installer (as they fit it with tile adhesive) Trimlux ‘Reg’ offers an excellent watertight bond to the wall when using a suitable sanitary grade silicone – such as Sealux-N.
by laying a bead of silicone along the wall the upstand part of the trim forms a formidable bond.
You simply fit the trim to the backing wall, take your time picking your tiles and when you are ready to tile simply lay the adhesive over the Trimlux upstand. This gives an excellent watertight seal, allows for joint movement, protected and hidden silicone that will last as long as your bathroom does.
